Pinin: Internet Superheroes of the telephony age

Hi Everyone!

Meow-chan here! Back from an exhausting but very fun trip to Brisbane Minin-Animania. Firstly thanks to all the people who visited us. Also thank you heaps to those who gladly took our bright orange flyer and fingers-crossed you would visit our site and the blog. I must also thank our awesome volunteer Emma who helped us out greatly and was very sharp when it came to giving correct change. Congratulations on the cosplay winners and look forward to see you guys/girls looking even better in Sydney!

For those interstate or couldn’t make it, you missed out on an awesome event with lots of cosplayers and energy! I am always greatly impressed by the Brissy crowd as they always take the time and effort to cosplay. My only complaint as some of you on the day heard was that there wasn’t enough catgirls/guys running around. Apart from that I was bedazzled by all the creativity and effort you all put into your cosplays and hope that come September your costumes would be even better! (and with more catgirls)

It was great to see heaps of interest for Tokidoki and as I have told many on the day, we are able to send you almost any Tokidoki merchandise to your doorstep if we don’t have it available on the day of the convention. After a brief respite from me, the lab rats here at Pinin HQ are again at the pump working to bring your our promised Pinin Newsletter as well as prepping for Supanova Sydney, our next convention on the 21st June. We are also working on creating more Toaster Sheep products and trailing even more Wrib designs for your fashion needs!

Once again thank you everyone that visited us in Brissy and I look forward to seeing you all again in September!

Oh My God!

Tomorrow is Mini-Animania Brisbane! So excited to see you all up there again. It has been absolutely hectic lead-up to tomorrow and I have some good and bad news to share with everyone.

First the bad news is that THE GODDAMN NEWSLETTER SYSTEM REFUSES TO WORK! Both Jackson and myself have spend hours exorcising gremlins from our humble systems yet it somehow still isn’t working!

Just to let you know, Pinin is creating a weekly newsletter where we would be able to keep you up-to-date with all the adventures we go through as we bring you the coolest and funkiest toys we can get! We will also keep you abreast of all the goss floating around and take you behind the scenes of your favourite conventions. The newsletter will of course also inform you of all the latest Pinin toys and which convention you will be able to buy them at.

Now for the good news.

First post here even though most of you who’ve visited the Pinin store at various cons would know who I am. Just a quick comment that the lab rats here at Pinin HQ are working hard in the lead up to Mini-Animania Brisbane.
